Painting
Coming from a fine-art back ground, paint was a medium I was very experimental with. I often painted on paper and wood, and a I began to paint on clothing, creating one off designs to pesonalise items. This was very popular at the time.
I built up a small project from my bedroom, painting and airbrushing, under the name of 'Illfact' (Illustration Factory). I began customisng clothes, bags and hats for friends and family.
I wanted to expand my customer base and so I entered into the break dancing scene where I was able produce work for professional Dancers Mukhtar Omar Sharif, Magneto of One Motion Crew and work with Kenrick (H2o) Sandy and his team creating costume design for The book of Koraka at the Threate Royal.
I produced a small catalogue, and recieved great feed back and encouagement, a copy was presented to BBC 1 Xtra DJ Robbo Ranx, and I the response was good.

Later I really took on the name Illustration Factory, and I delievered the customized item in brown boxes with bubble rap, inside was an instruction card on how to handle and clean the product designed to resemble a health and safety notice.
I had so much fun on this customising and the encouragement I recieved was great. The experience was amazing.
